Try outs for the Fall 2010 / Spring 2011 Chagrin Falls Travel Soccer Teams will be held at various times and various locations.

These try outs are for Boys and Girls (U9 to U14) (U8 Boys Only). Based on participation levels, we will field teams accordingly per age bracket, providing we have a Parent Coach for each Team! All interested players must attend try outs. Current travel players must attend.

These try outs will be conducted by our Professional Coaches with the aid of coaching volunteers. There will be a $5.00 per player try out fee.

Try outs for the Fall 2010 / Spring 2011 Chagrin Falls Travel Soccer Teams will be held May 24th – June 4th at Gurney Elementary or the Federated Family Life Center (RT 306, just south of Bell Street).

If your son is interested in trying out, you must contact the appropriate person for his age group. He/she will send you the necessary registration forms and assign a tryout time for your son. Completed forms must be brought to the tryout with your son. Players will be evaluated in groups of 8-10, for approximately 30 minutes. Try outs will be organized by our current travel team coaches, however current coaches will not be evaluating their players. Players will be evaluated by coaches from age groups other than their own. Based on participation levels, we will field one or two teams per age bracket. All interested players must attend tryouts, including current travel players.

There will be a $5.00 per player try out fee.

The purpose of the Girls travel Soccer program is to augment the recreational CSA program by providing a higher level of competition and Coaching for the more serious players in the Chagrin Falls School district. We employ professional Coaches to help with each of the Teams, and we play games against teams from all over the Greater Cleveland area.

Our community is a member of the NOGSL (Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League) which is a member of Ohio Youth Soccer League North. We are sanctioned by and regulated by their rules.

Teams are determined by yearly try-outs, and are regulated by the players age. The number of players per roster is also regulated, so there is competition for these roster positions. Each year consists of 2 Seasons: Fall and Spring. Fall games are played September – October; and Spring games are played April – June.

Team may also (at their discretion) participate in any of the Youth Soccer Tournaments that are played throughout the year. These are generally 2 to 3 day Tournaments where you play 3 preliminary games and advance if you are successful. Some Teams also participate in winter indoor leagues.

We welcome Girls from the ages of 9 to 14 to tryout; but remember that this program is more serious in nature – and that all who tryout may not have the ability to participate.

The goal of the Chagrin Falls Girls Travel Program is to provide "Club" level training for our players at a much reduced rate. We have the advantage of having some of the areas best Coaches living near and working with our Girls, a benefit that most Communities simply do not have!

As a general rule the fees for are each season are approximately $100.00 to 150.00 per player. Of that about $20.00 is for the players pass and their share of the Team's registration in the NOGSL (Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League). The additional amount is the players share of the aggregate costs for the additional Coaching which we try to provide. There are seasons where it may be higher or lower, but this provides you with a basic understanding of the fees.

If you are new to the program, or the Team decides as a whole, there is a one time additional cost of about $55.00 to 60.00 for the players uniform.
